To improve the quality-of-life and to help reduce expenses & admission costs of service members & their families for certain events, the Kingsville Navy League helps to sponsor:

Our youth programs are designed to inspire and educate the next generation of leaders. Through hands-on experiences, we instill values of teamwork, discipline, and respect among our young participants.

• We help to support our local Sea Cadets and try to involve them in our mission whenever possible. Pictured above, Sea Cadets from Corpus Christi help with Color Guard duties at the 2025 Goshawk Ball onboard the USS Lexington Museum, hosted by the Kingsville Navy League.

• We sponsor & present the Navy League's Theodore Roosevelt Youth Medal to outstanding Cadets participating in Junior ROTC Programs. We have adopted the Donna ISD Marine Corps JROTC Program and support their mission annually.

• We help sponsor TW-2 Pilot-for-a-Day events to give local children (usually with illnesses) the opportunity to enjoy a hands-on experience learning about being in the Navy and Marine Corps aviation community.

We routinely engage in public education events, either military events or events in our local community, to communicate the need for our nation to have strong Sea Services and/or to specifically discuss the mission of the Kingsville Navy League.

• Educational Flyers and members available at Training Air Wing TWO Patching Ceremonies and Winging Ceremonies

• Help sponsor educational events and programs including the USS Kingsville Commissioning Committee, Wings Over South Texas Airshow, and the Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall.

The Kingsville Navy League tries very hard to help support our military families, both financially and with needed material items.

• We sponsor the Navy League of the United States Kingsville Council Hahn Memorial Scholarship in memorial to Michael Hahn, an honorable Naval Aviator raised in Kingsville, TX, and proud graduate from the Corps of Cadets, Texas A&M University-College Station. Applications available from Nov-Feb to sea service members, their dependents, and Navy/Marine Corps JROTC participants seeking full-time enrollment at Texas A&M University – Kingsville. 

• We help sponsor the Noe Hernandez Leadership Scholarship presented annually to an active JROTC Cadet in memorial to GM2 Noe Hernandez, U.S. Navy, who was one of seven active duty Sailors tragically killed while honorably serving on the USS Fitzgerald (DDG 62) on June 17, 2017 (collision with a container ship off the coast of Japan).

• We sponsor NAS Kingsville's "Operation School Supply" to aid in military parents and their school children receiving the necessary supplies for the upcoming school year.

• We provide end-of-year financial support to the junior enlisted service members and their families onboard NAS Kingsville, in the form of holiday gift cards.
